The European Spallation Source ERIC (ESS) is a large scale, multinational research facility under construction in Lund, Sweden. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to host 15 specialized scientific instruments, each meticulously crafted to capture specific types of scientific data. Utilizing neutrons as a unique investigative tool, the ESS is dedicated to investigating the intricate nature of materials. This includes the exploration of exotic phases of matter that emerge under extreme conditions of temperature and field. Such conditions often necessitate temperatures nearing absolute zero or magnetic fields hundreds of thousands of times larger than the Earth's magnetic field. Recognizing the significance of these inquiries, ESS is committed to providing sample environments capable of reaching the broadest possible parameter space. Within the scope of this agreement, the focus is on the procurement of five "wet" and five “dry” cryostats, each designated for a specific instrument. These cryostats play a crucial role in facilitating precise and controlled sample environments for a variety of scientific investigations conducted at ESS. All cryostats should be delivered until end of 2025. .
